Weight Loss Journey in Menopause

My whole life, I’ve been blessed to never have had a weight problem. Not until I hit 50 years of age and passed through menopause. As a woman, it is a big deal for me to look out for my weight and figure. Previous to that I had quit smoking, took a desk job, then took care of my father for 3 years until he passed away because of cancer.

In 2019, all those sedentary factors found me at 210 lbs. The excess weight is causing me painful hip and back problems, depression, and fatigue. I tried multiple diets and programs for a year and there’s no success past a mere 10 to 15 pounds. I was at the point of considering an implant to be in my abdomen. Luckily, a friend from college told me of her success with HCG so I thought why not, if it doesn’t work, my next step will be surgery.

I started my HCG journey in the 2020 month of March, 6 weeks on, 4 weeks off, stuck to it like glue, logged everything I ate, and by Thanksgiving, I was at my goal weight of 150 lbs. I eventually came off all pain meds, hip & spine shots, and arthritis meds. I stayed at my weight goal until September when I suffered a devastating knee injury from a swing dancing competition and was unable to do any kind of exercise until now.

Inactivity combined with depression and falling back into old habits has packed on 35 lbs of my original 60 lost, so through HCG Injections Shop, I ordered, applied for, and got a prescription for which I am currently awaiting my product to arrive, so I can knock this weight back off and resume my dancing, bike riding, gym, and restore my energy & comfort levels.

Even at a menopausal stage, you can still manage your weight and overall health. I am grateful to a friend of mine who introduced me to this program. Now I can things I can’t do for years because of the excess weight I have. Even my physical activity is limited. I wholeheartedly encourage anyone who is in my boat to give this program a try- it changed my life but it is a permanent lifestyle change if you want to keep it off for life. I have learned by eating clean just how destructive sugar, bad carbs & fats, and processed food poison my body, and how backsliding into old habits can put it right back on and all of the health problems with it. I’m so looking forward to getting back on the program until my product arrives or so, purging my body of junk, and getting back to normal!
