A Guide on Using HCG Injections for Weight Loss

HCG Injections

For those starting the HCG diet, giving HCG injections correctly is vital. Each step, from preparing the solution to injecting it in the right spot, is crucial for safety and success.

Preparing the HCG Injection

Before administering the HCG injection, it is essential to prepare the solution correctly. Follow these steps to ensure the HCG is properly prepared:

1.  Start by gathering all the necessary supplies, including the following:

·      HCG vial of 5000 IU

·      10 ml of Bacteriostatic (BAC) water

·      1 ml disposable syringe

·      5ml mixing syringe

·      Alcohol swab

2.  Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water.

Drawing the Hormone

To draw the HCG hormone from the vial, follow these steps:

  1. Remove the protective cap from the needle of the mixing syringe.
  2. Remove also the cap from your BAC water vial, and HCG vial.
  3. Insert the mixing syringe into the BAC vial’s rubber stopper.
  4. Turn the vial upside down and insert 5ml of air into the vial. Afterward, drawing out 5mL of water will be easier, then discard the water. You will now have 5mL remaining in your vial.
  5. Dilute the HCG powder with the mixing syringe by drawing out 2mL of air from your HCG vial.
  6. Then draw up 2mL of BAC water and add this to your HCG vial.
  7. Dilute the powder by rolling the HCG vial gently between your palms. See to it that all the powder has dissolved and the solution is already clear.
  8. With your mixing syringe, extract the HCG solution from the vial. Then transfer it to your BAC water vial. You will then have a total of 5mL of HCG solution.
  9. Gently roll the vial between your palms to ensure proper mixing of the HCG solution.
  10. Store the prepared solution in the refrigerator.

Choosing the Injection Site

Select an appropriate injection site. The most common sites for HCG injections are the lower abdomen, upper arm, and upper thigh. These areas provide ample muscle mass and fat tissue for optimal absorption of the hormone.

Preparing the Injection Site

Once the HCG solution is drawn into the syringe, choose the injection site. Clean the site with an alcohol swab. Allow the area to dry completely before proceeding.

Administering the Injection

1.    With the needle pointed downward, gently pinch the skin around the cleansed injection site to create a hard surface.

2.    Insert the needle into the skin at a 45-degree angle, using a quick and smooth motion.

3.    Once the needle is fully inserted, push the plunger to administer the HCG solution slowly and steadily.

4.    After injecting the entire dose, withdraw the needle at the same angle it was inserted.

5.    Apply pressure to the injection site with a sterile cotton ball or swab to minimize bleeding.

Disposing of Used Supplies

Proper disposal of used needles and syringes is essential for safety and hygiene. Place the used syringe and needle into a designated container after use to prevent accidental needlestick injuries.

Storage of Unused HCG

Store the HCG vial in the refrigerator. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, as this can degrade the hormone’s potency.

Proper administration of HCG injections is crucial for achieving successful weight loss outcomes. By following the step-by-step process outlined above, you can safely and effectively incorporate HCG injections into your weight loss regimen.
